HOMFIT provides unsurpassed personal training services in your home, work or the location of your choice. By providing personal training, educational offerings, a full line of exercise equipment and the very best nutritional supplements we are able to offer a complete lifestyle based solution that can help any client achieve any goal!

Initial Consultation

The initial consultation will be your first experience with a HOMFIT professional. In this 45 minute appointment, we want to get to know YOU! We empathetically listen to your unique goals and your exercise history and anything else important to your health and wellness.

We will discuss and analyze your personal and medical health history including past injuries, family history and life habits. We'll discuss health risks and the importance of setting goals and instilling a healthy lifestyle with fitness. By completing a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) we will better understand your current abilities and or limitations.

There is no fee for the initial consultation.


Physical Assessment

The physical assessment will be your second experience with a HOMFIT professional. In this appointment, we want to get to understand how your body works as physical unit. This is arguably the most important session of your fitness program.

We will discuss and analyze your personal and medical health history including past injuries, family history and life habits. We'll discuss health risks and the importance of setting goals and instilling a healthy lifestyle with fitness. By completing a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) we will better understand your current abilities and or limitations.

  1. We will have you perform basic movement patterns – analyzing posture, muscular balance, structural alignment and total body stability. Understanding your level of fitness and conditioning is critical in prescribing the best fitness solution to help you reach your goals.

  2. Body Composition – 7 point skin fold and 7 point circumference measurements are logged to track ongoing progress.

  3. Cardiovascular Test – A 3-minute step test will be conducted to determine the strength of your heart’s ability to recover from physical activity.

  4. Strength Test – Push up and curl up (sit up) tests are conducted to determine upper body and core strength.

  5. Flexibility – A standard sit and reach measurement is conducted to determine total body flexibility.

  6. Finally, photos and videos are taken so you and your HOMFIT professional can visually assess, monitor and celebrate your progress.

Personal Training Sessions

HOMFIT provides its personal training services to the location of your choice, home, office, etc. We bring the equipment, motivation and guidance to deliver results oriented training sessions customized specifically for you. Training sessions are 60 minutes in length and are designed to be safe, progressive and challenging – no two are ever exactly alike. Typically there is a warm up, followed by a core development and flexibility phase combined with various strength, stability and functional movement patterns and cardiovascular endurance exercises. All sessions are planned to ensure safety and success taking into consideration the clients level of conditioning and ability.

Training Sessions can be performed one-on-one or with a training partner of your choice. Training partners are an excellent way to stay motivated and accountable to your training sessions and fitness program. Groups, more than two, are also encouraged as HOMFIT programs can be designed safely and effectively for all participants and large groups. Partner and group training is also a way to make your fitness program more affordable.

BODYFIT

This is HOMFIT’s flagship service. This is our primary offering and is the most utilized service we offer:

HOMFIT’s 12 Week BODYFIT Course was designed by Paul Kochevar and Michael Stoltzman to give their clients the most effective and results oriented exercise experience possible. BODYFIT is built on rock solid principles taught by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). This completely customizable approach to fitness is like none other.

BODYFIT is a unique and systematic fitness program specifically designed to safely and effectively progress any client toward any goal. Clients meet 3 times per week for 12 weeks. The first session is the assessment. From there you start building core strength, adding balance, stability and agility, combined with heart pumping cardiovascular conditioning and lean mass building strength training this workout is sure to leave you fatigued.

Included is a BODYFIT reference guide. Used to measure and track progress and give you more self reliance, this priceless manual will be your blueprints for building the foundation and framework for the healthiest you ever.
